About Threshold Events
There's a moment I plan every event around.
It happens right at the door.
The Story
I'm Kaylee. I'm a mom, a wife, and I'm happiest when my home is full.
Whether it's a handful of friends over for dinner or a room full of coworkers celebrating a good year, I care about it the same way. Every guest, every detail, it all matters. So, I turned my love for hosting into Threshold Events.
The moment I love most in any event isn't the big one. It's smaller than that. It's the second a guest walks into a room and you can see it land on their face. You're wanted here.
I first noticed this moment at my own wedding. I was upstairs getting ready while our guests arrived. I watched over the balcony as the last few guests entered the venue and took in the space. A room I'd spent a year planning, finally full. I loved every part of that day. The moment on the balcony watching our loved ones arrive, made me realize my passion for not just event planning, but the small moments that make every event special.
My goal is that every detail has a reason and your event feels curated. What I care about most is the guest experience, start to finish. How people feel arriving, settling in, and staying.
That's what Threshold means to me. Not just the door you walk through, but everything that door promises.
What I Believe
The details aren't extra. They're the point.
Every guest should feel wanted
Not just invited, wanted. There's a difference, and your guests will feel it.
You should be present at your own event
If you're running around managing details on the day of, something went wrong in the planning. My job is to make sure that doesn't happen.
No event is too small to do well
A dinner party for eight deserves the same intention as a corporate gala. The scale changes. The care doesn't.
"The threshold is the door and everything it promises."
